For my birthday today, a most trusted friend who shall remain nameless presented me with the gift that just keeps on giving for this John and Evangeline fan. It’s called:

One Pair of Latex Gloves
When John is investigating a case, you can work right along side him wearing your latex gloves, too!.

Packets of Bayer Aspirin
To prevent a stroke during viewing scenes like the elevator, the basement, the shower - per se, as it were, so to speak...

Tissues
For wiping tears, sweat, or your fingerprints off of the television as you try to get up close and personal to Johnny Mac!

Two AA Batteries
In case the remote dies, one can never have enough batteries!

Chai Tea
When you’ve run out of AB or it’s too early to have an AB with John and Evangeline!

Salsa and Chips
Who has time to prepare a meal when John and Van are on your TV?

Well, now I’m prepared for anything!

But then again, as we all know, friendship is one thing but John and Evangeline are clearly another. So as not to be caught shorthanded when and if the unthinkable happens and I find myself confronted with a block of time looming in front of me without ABC, Soapnet, or my treasured VHS edits on hand, this former Girl Scout will have to perform a thorough examination of my new survival kit beforehand. The true test will be passed if the use of this survival kit leaves me with John and Evangeline cravings which while their usual constant are merely mildly incapacitating as opposed to completely debilitating. I'm off to try out my survival kit! I'll let you know how it works.

It’s so nice to have friends who understand what’s really important!

Oh, and have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE Renee Elise Goldsberry and Michael Easton?
